First established in 1974 by Bob Minker and Tony DeMario as Contractor's Line & Grade, we quickly became known as the survey outfit to call for fast and accurate construction survey staking. Bob and Tony split in 1986, dividing territory, with Bob running CLG North in Northern Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties, while Tony ran CLG South in Southern Westchester County and NYC. In 1988 Bob Minker retired and Contractor's Line & Grade North incorporated to its present name with Thomas S. Barger, Sr. (WINGS) in charge of survey operations. We became a New York State Certified WBE (Woman's Business Enterprise) in 1992. With the passing of Thomas (WINGS) in 2002, Thomas S. Barger, Jr. assumed survey operations management and continues the tradition of providing outstanding construction staking services to Owners, General Contractors and all types of Subcontractors.
